According to Dr. Thurman Fleet, there are six systems or Zones in the body. These are GLANDULAR, ELIMINATIVE, NERVOUS, DIGESTIVE, MUSCULAR, and CIRCULATORY. The human brain is composed of many centers which form in the embryonic stage of life. There are six specific centers which control each of the body's six systems or Zones listed above. He referred to the body as an ELECTRICAL MACHINE. He said these six brain centers represent the POSITIVE POLE of the body, and for each of the six systems or Zones there are specific related points in the spinal cord which represent the NEGATIVE POLE of the body.
Furthermore, he stated "all diseased conditions, aches and pains, and other discomforts experienced by the body can be attributed to one or more of the above disturbances to the body's six systems or Zones." It could be said that one or more of these centers are "shorted out." This disruption of the normal function of the center is due to the effect of emotional, physical, or chemical stress on the body.
To determine which of the brain centers are not in harmony with the systems they control, the Zone doctor feels specific points on the patient's head. These points are related to the six brain centers by nerve connections. When a brain center is not sending the proper signals to its system, bodily functions associated with that system will suffer. To correct this, the Zone doctor stimulates specific points in the spinal cord.
There are four specific points in the spinal cord (negative pole) that are related to each of the six brain centers (positive pole). Stimulation of the proper points by the Zone doctor sends healing energy up the spinal cord to the brain centers that need balancing. The balanced brain centers then are able to send out the proper signals to the body's systems and the body is better able to heal itself. As Dr. Pete Goldman says, "a balanced body is a healthy body, and a healthy body feels and functions perfectly from head to toe."
The Glandular System includes 200+ glands in the body and the chemicals they produce to regulate health in the body.
•Improved memory, focus, energy, emotional balance, sleep, and relaxation
•Regulate immune system, hormone production and appetite
•Healthy skin, hair, and nails
•Maintenance of the reproductive organs, thyroid, adrenal, pineal, pituitary, among others.
The Eliminative System is designed to 'eliminate' or flush out built-up waste and toxins from your body and includes the sinuses, lungs, kidneys, bladder, intestines, colon, and skin.
•Strengthen lung, kidney, and bladder function
•Regulate colon & bowel movements, eliminate bloating
•Clear sinuses, nasal passages, and bronchial tubes
•Proper elimination of bodily toxins through the skin without causing irritation
The Nervous System consists of 45 miles of nerves and is made up of both the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (all other nerves in the body).
•Improve sleep, mood, and ability to remain calm
•Balance the hormonal system
•Eye, ear, and other sensory organs health
•Healthy immune system
•Control the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems
The Digestive System is made up of the organ responsible for taking nutrients from the food we eat and breaking them down to provide energy to the cells of the body.
•Normalize weight and sense of taste, boost energy
•Regulate saliva production
•Maintain healthy liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and intestines
•Digest foods properly that have caused upset in the past
•Promote proper elimination
The muscular system is composed of 637+ muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones. All of which work together to keep you upright and allow you to move.
•Restore proper range of motion and movement of muscles and joints
•Expedite muscle recovery and improve strength
•Normal tone and flexibility
•Restore center of gravity, equilibrium, and balance
•Spinal alignment
The circulatory system includes everything that assists in circulating blood to pick up and drop off substances to the cells of the body at a normal pressure and rate along with a waste disposal system. These are the heart, approximately 60,000 miles of arteries, veins, and capillaries, the kidneys and lymphatic system.
•Heart health
•Normalize blood pressure
•Healthy blood and lymphatic vessels
•Proper systemic circulation
•Strength, relaxation, and movement of arms and legs
